BROOKLYN — The 2027-28 Regular Season schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Portland GigaChads travel to Flatbush Trench Garden to face the Brooklyn Bomboclaats (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV). The head-to-head matchup pits Portland star GigaChad (25.4 PPG, 4.6 APG) against Brooklyn cornerstone Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper (25.8 PPG, 4.1 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Bay Harbor Goobers defeated the Denver Smurf Cats 113-101 behind Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo’s 35 points, 16 rebounds, and 3 assists.
“Playing at Flatbush Trench Garden requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Ernest Khalimov told reporters at morning shootaround. “Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Flatbush Trench Garden. GigaChad and Portland GigaChads bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
