Today’s 2027-28 Regular Season slate tips off at The Purple Garden (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT) following Shailushai (Smurf Cat)’s 25-point eruption against Atlanta.
BOSTON — The 2027-28 Regular Season schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Bay Harbor Goobers travel to The Purple Garden to face the Boston Grimaces (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT). The head-to-head matchup pits Bay Harbor star Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo (24.6 PPG, 2.4 APG) against Boston cornerstone Grimace (19.8 PPG, 16.1 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Denver Smurf Cats defeated the Atlanta Rizzlers 110-103 behind Shailushai (Smurf Cat)’s 25 points, 3 rebounds, and 12 assists.
“Playing at The Purple Garden requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Don Peppino Goober told reporters at morning shootaround. “Grimace can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Purple Garden. Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo and Bay Harbor Goobers bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
