Today’s 2027-28 Regular Season slate tips off at The Sigma Fortress (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV) following Shailushai (Smurf Cat)’s 26-point eruption against Boston.
CANTON — The 2027-28 Regular Season schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Bay Harbor Goobers travel to The Sigma Fortress to face the Ohio Sigmas (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV). The head-to-head matchup pits Bay Harbor star Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo (24.6 PPG, 2.4 APG) against Canton cornerstone The Ohio King (24.1 PPG, 7.8 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Denver Smurf Cats defeated the Boston Grimaces 116-113 behind Shailushai (Smurf Cat)’s 26 points, 2 rebounds, and 15 assists.
“Playing at The Sigma Fortress requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Don Peppino Goober told reporters at morning shootaround. “The Ohio King can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Sigma Fortress. Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo and Bay Harbor Goobers bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
