Today’s 2027-28 Regular Season slate tips off at South Beach Void Arena (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV) following Fortnite Jonesy’s 31-point eruption against Los Angeles.
MIAMI — The 2027-28 Regular Season schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Portland GigaChads travel to South Beach Void Arena to face the Miami Phantoms (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV). The head-to-head matchup pits Portland star GigaChad (25.4 PPG, 4.6 APG) against Miami cornerstone Baby Gronk (21.2 PPG, 3.8 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Vegas V-Bucks defeated the Los Angeles Gyatts 126-121 behind Fortnite Jonesy’s 31 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.
“Playing at South Beach Void Arena requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Ernest Khalimov told reporters at morning shootaround. “Baby Gronk can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at South Beach Void Arena. GigaChad and Portland GigaChads bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
