Film Room: How Fanum’s 28-Point Masterclass Unlocked New York Taxers’ 114-105 Victory Over Los Angeles
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from New York Taxers’ win over Los Angeles Gyatts.
NEW YORK — Reviewing the tape from New York Taxers’ 114-105 triumph over the Los Angeles Gyatts reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Fanum recorded 28 points and 4 assists while utilizing his signature "The Feast Offensive Putback Jam" to punish every defensive coverage Los Angeles deployed.
Whenever Los Angeles Gyatts sent a second defender above the three-point line, Fanum calmly hit Blicky the Pullup (21 PTS, 5 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Hollywood Rizzler answering for Los Angeles with 28 points, New York Taxers’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2027-28 Regular Season slate (2027-10-27), attention shifts to Atlanta Rizzlers visiting Golden State Sahurs at The Sahur Pavilion at Chase Center (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Kai Cenat and Tung Tung Tung Sahur headline the marquee matchup.
"Fanum read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 28 points with 4 assists against Los Angeles Gyatts is textbook point-of-attack execution."
