Film Room: How Fortnite Jonesy’s 36-Point Masterclass Unlocked Vegas V-Bucks’ 126-98 Victory Over Denver
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Vegas V-Bucks’ win over Denver Smurf Cats.
LAS VEGAS — Reviewing the tape from Vegas V-Bucks’ 126-98 triumph over the Denver Smurf Cats reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Fortnite Jonesy recorded 36 points and 5 assists while utilizing his signature "Tilted Towers 90-Degree Fadeaway" to punish every defensive coverage Denver deployed.
Whenever Denver Smurf Cats sent a second defender above the three-point line, Fortnite Jonesy calmly hit Peely the Slasher (24 PTS, 5 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Moo Deng answering for Denver with 21 points, Vegas V-Bucks’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2027-28 Regular Season slate (2027-10-15), attention shifts to Golden State Sahurs visiting Portland GigaChads at Moda Chiseled Center (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Tung Tung Tung Sahur and GigaChad headline the marquee matchup.
"Fortnite Jonesy read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 36 points with 5 assists against Denver Smurf Cats is textbook point-of-attack execution."
