Today’s 2027-28 Regular Season slate tips off at Flatbush Trench Garden (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT) following Shailushai (Smurf Cat)’s 28-point eruption against Las Vegas.
BROOKLYN — The 2027-28 Regular Season schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Toronto Mewers travel to Flatbush Trench Garden to face the Brooklyn Bomboclaats (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT). The head-to-head matchup pits Toronto star Handsome Squidward (24.8 PPG, 4.2 APG) against Brooklyn cornerstone Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper (25.8 PPG, 4.1 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Denver Smurf Cats defeated the Vegas V-Bucks 113-108 behind Shailushai (Smurf Cat)’s 28 points, 4 rebounds, and 15 assists.
“Playing at Flatbush Trench Garden requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Dr. John Mew-rot told reporters at morning shootaround. “Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Flatbush Trench Garden. Handsome Squidward and Toronto Mewers bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
