Association Pulse: Handsome Squidward and Jawline Jack Combine for 58 Points as Toronto Mewers Surge in 2027-28 Preseason
Inside the chemistry propelling Toronto past Silicon Valley Disrupters (122-113) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
TORONTO — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Handsome Squidward and Jawline Jack passed another major test in Toronto Mewers’ 122-113 victory over the Silicon Valley Disrupters. Combining for 58 points and 7 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Verity poured in 34 points to keep San Jose within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Toronto Mewers executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2027-28 Preseason slate (2027-10-01), attention shifts to Denver Smurf Cats visiting Golden State Sahurs at The Sahur Pavilion at Chase Center (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV), where Shailushai (Smurf Cat) and Tung Tung Tung Sahur headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Handsome Squidward makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against San Jose."
