BAY HARBOR — The 2027 Global Series schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Brooklyn Bomboclaats travel to Goober Marina Colosseum to face the Bay Harbor Goobers (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT). The head-to-head matchup pits Brooklyn star Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper (25.8 PPG, 7.9 APG) against Bay Harbor cornerstone Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo (24.6 PPG, 15.2 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Toronto Mewers defeated the Silicon Valley Disrupters 109-102 behind Handsome Squidward’s 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.
“Playing at Goober Marina Colosseum requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Coach Vincenzo Russo told reporters at morning shootaround. “Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Goober Marina Colosseum. Matteo the Hand Gesture Sniper and Brooklyn Bomboclaats bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
