Association Pulse: Baby Gronk and Livvy Dunne Combine for 49 Points as Miami Phantoms Surge in 2027 BBL Summer League
Inside the chemistry propelling Miami past Silicon Valley Disrupters (116-109) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
MIAMI — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Baby Gronk and Livvy Dunne passed another major test in Miami Phantoms’ 116-109 victory over the Silicon Valley Disrupters. Combining for 49 points and 10 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Verity poured in 35 points to keep San Jose within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Miami Phantoms executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2027 BBL Summer League slate (2027-08-14), attention shifts to Denver Smurf Cats visiting Ohio Sigmas at The Sigma Fortress (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV), where Shailushai (Smurf Cat) and The Ohio King headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Baby Gronk makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against San Jose."
