Today’s 2027 BBL Summer League slate tips off at South Beach Void Arena (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass) following Handsome Squidward’s 34-point eruption against Canton.
MIAMI — The 2027 BBL Summer League schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Silicon Valley Disrupters travel to South Beach Void Arena to face the Miami Phantoms (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass). The head-to-head matchup pits San Jose star Verity (29.1 PPG, 12.8 APG) against Miami cornerstone Baby Gronk (21.2 PPG, 3.8 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Toronto Mewers defeated the Ohio Sigmas 115-113 behind Handsome Squidward’s 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.
“Playing at South Beach Void Arena requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Coach Arthur Sterling told reporters at morning shootaround. “Baby Gronk can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at South Beach Void Arena. Verity and Silicon Valley Disrupters bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
