Association Pulse: Duke Dennis and Lone Star Lock Combine for 48 Points as Texas Edgers Surge in 2027 BBL Summer League
Inside the chemistry propelling Austin past Portland GigaChads (111-104) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
AUSTIN — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Duke Dennis and Lone Star Lock passed another major test in Texas Edgers’ 111-104 victory over the Portland GigaChads. Combining for 48 points and 13 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as GigaChad poured in 30 points to keep Portland within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Texas Edgers executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2027 BBL Summer League slate (2027-08-06), attention shifts to Seattle Skibidis visiting New York Taxers at The Feast Center at MSG (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV), where Skibidi Prime and Fanum headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Duke Dennis makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Portland."
