SAN JOSE — The 2027 BBL Summer League schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Miami Phantoms travel to Disruption Pavilion at SAP to face the Silicon Valley Disrupters (1:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass). The head-to-head matchup pits Miami star Baby Gronk (21.2 PPG, 8.9 APG) against San Jose cornerstone Verity (29.1 PPG, 4.9 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Toronto Mewers defeated the Boston Grimaces 119-107 behind Handsome Squidward’s 34 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.
“Playing at Disruption Pavilion at SAP requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Coach Livvy told reporters at morning shootaround. “Verity can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Disruption Pavilion at SAP. Baby Gronk and Miami Phantoms bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
