Today’s 2027 BBL Summer League slate tips off at Sunset Horizon Center (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV) following Kai Cenat’s 34-point eruption against Denver.
LOS ANGELES — The 2027 BBL Summer League schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Portland GigaChads travel to Sunset Horizon Center to face the Los Angeles Gyatts (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV). The head-to-head matchup pits Portland star GigaChad (25.4 PPG, 4.6 APG) against Los Angeles cornerstone Hollywood Rizzler (25.1 PPG, 7.9 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Atlanta Rizzlers defeated the Denver Smurf Cats 121-112 behind Kai Cenat’s 34 points, 4 rebounds, and 10 assists.
“Playing at Sunset Horizon Center requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Ernest Khalimov told reporters at morning shootaround. “Hollywood Rizzler can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Sunset Horizon Center. GigaChad and Portland GigaChads bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
