Association Pulse: Grimace and Hamburglar Combine for 57 Points as Boston Grimaces Surge in 2027 BBL Playoffs
Inside the chemistry propelling Boston past Denver Smurf Cats (125-103) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
BOSTON — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Grimace and Hamburglar passed another major test in Boston Grimaces’ 125-103 victory over the Denver Smurf Cats. Combining for 57 points and 19 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Shailushai (Smurf Cat) poured in 22 points to keep Denver within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Boston Grimaces executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2027 BBL Playoffs slate (2027-04-24), attention shifts to New York Taxers visiting Portland GigaChads at Moda Chiseled Center (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV), where Fanum and GigaChad headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Grimace makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against Denver."
