Association Pulse: Handsome Squidward and Jawline Jack Combine for 59 Points as Toronto Mewers Surge in 2027 BBL Playoffs
Inside the chemistry propelling Toronto past New York Taxers (127-123) ahead of today’s association-wide schedule.
TORONTO — Chemistry in the Brainrot Basketball League is measured under fourth-quarter pressure, and the duo of Handsome Squidward and Jawline Jack passed another major test in Toronto Mewers’ 127-123 victory over the New York Taxers. Combining for 59 points and 9 rebounds, the pair controlled the tempo on both ends of the court.
Even as Fanum poured in 28 points to keep New York within striking distance entering the fourth quarter, Toronto Mewers executed crisp half-court sets to close out the win.
Looking ahead to today’s 2027 BBL Playoffs slate (2027-04-20), attention shifts to Texas Edgers visiting Golden State Sahurs at The Sahur Pavilion at Chase Center (7:00 PM EST, BBL TV / TNT), where Duke Dennis and Tung Tung Tung Sahur headline the marquee matchup.
"Playing alongside Handsome Squidward makes the game so much easier. We read each other’s cuts instinctively, and that showed in our fourth-quarter execution against New York."
