Film Room: How Grimace’s 26-Point Masterclass Unlocked Boston Grimaces’ 123-113 Victory Over San Jose
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Boston Grimaces’ win over Silicon Valley Disrupters.
BOSTON — Reviewing the tape from Boston Grimaces’ 123-113 triumph over the Silicon Valley Disrupters reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Grimace recorded 26 points and 1 assists while utilizing his signature "Purple Swat & Paint Lockdown" to punish every defensive coverage San Jose deployed.
Whenever Silicon Valley Disrupters sent a second defender above the three-point line, Grimace calmly hit Hamburglar (26 PTS, 5 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Verity answering for San Jose with 30 points, Boston Grimaces’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2026-27 Regular Season slate (2027-03-25), attention shifts to Toronto Mewers visiting Atlanta Rizzlers at The AMP Dome (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Handsome Squidward and Kai Cenat headline the marquee matchup.
"Grimace read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 26 points with 1 assists against Silicon Valley Disrupters is textbook point-of-attack execution."
