PORTLAND — The 2026-27 Regular Season schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Denver Smurf Cats travel to Moda Chiseled Center to face the Portland GigaChads (1:00 PM EST, BBL TV / NBA TV). The head-to-head matchup pits Denver star Shailushai (Smurf Cat) (23.4 PPG, 14.2 APG) against Portland cornerstone GigaChad (25.4 PPG, 12.8 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Atlanta Rizzlers defeated the Ohio Sigmas 119-106 behind Kai Cenat’s 34 points, 3 rebounds, and 13 assists.
“Playing at Moda Chiseled Center requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Grand Wizard Shailushai told reporters at morning shootaround. “GigaChad can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at Moda Chiseled Center. Shailushai (Smurf Cat) and Denver Smurf Cats bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
