Film Room: How Duke Dennis’s 36-Point Masterclass Unlocked Texas Edgers’ 118-114 Victory Over San Jose
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Texas Edgers’ win over Silicon Valley Disrupters.
AUSTIN — Reviewing the tape from Texas Edgers’ 118-114 triumph over the Silicon Valley Disrupters reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Duke Dennis recorded 36 points and 5 assists while utilizing his signature "The 1920s DeeBlock Post Fadeaway" to punish every defensive coverage San Jose deployed.
Whenever Silicon Valley Disrupters sent a second defender above the three-point line, Duke Dennis calmly hit Longhorn Luke (19 PTS, 7 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Verity answering for San Jose with 37 points, Texas Edgers’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2026-27 Regular Season slate (2027-02-13), attention shifts to Miami Phantoms visiting New York Taxers at The Feast Center at MSG (1:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Baby Gronk and Fanum headline the marquee matchup.
"Duke Dennis read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 36 points with 5 assists against Silicon Valley Disrupters is textbook point-of-attack execution."
