Film Room: How Grimace’s 25-Point Masterclass Unlocked Boston Grimaces’ 112-109 Victory Over Canton
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Boston Grimaces’ win over Ohio Sigmas.
BOSTON — Reviewing the tape from Boston Grimaces’ 112-109 triumph over the Ohio Sigmas reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Grimace recorded 25 points and 4 assists while utilizing his signature "Purple Swat & Paint Lockdown" to punish every defensive coverage Canton deployed.
Whenever Ohio Sigmas sent a second defender above the three-point line, Grimace calmly hit Hamburglar (20 PTS, 5 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with The Ohio King answering for Canton with 30 points, Boston Grimaces’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2026-27 Regular Season slate (2027-02-05), attention shifts to Silicon Valley Disrupters visiting Bay Harbor Goobers at Goober Marina Colosseum (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Verity and Bomboclaat Pizzaiolo headline the marquee matchup.
"Grimace read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 25 points with 4 assists against Ohio Sigmas is textbook point-of-attack execution."
