Film Room: How Handsome Squidward’s 31-Point Masterclass Unlocked Toronto Mewers’ 115-105 Victory Over Los Angeles
Breaking down the half-court spacing, pick-and-roll reads, and fourth-quarter execution from Toronto Mewers’ win over Los Angeles Gyatts.
TORONTO — Reviewing the tape from Toronto Mewers’ 115-105 triumph over the Los Angeles Gyatts reveals a clinic in modern offensive spacing. Operating out of high ball screens, Handsome Squidward recorded 31 points and 5 assists while utilizing his signature "Sculpted Elevation Pull-Up Jumper" to punish every defensive coverage Los Angeles deployed.
Whenever Los Angeles Gyatts sent a second defender above the three-point line, Handsome Squidward calmly hit Chico Lachowski (21 PTS, 4 REB) in the short roll to create immediate four-on-three advantages. Even with Hollywood Rizzler answering for Los Angeles with 25 points, Toronto Mewers’ shot quality in the final six minutes proved decisive.
Looking ahead to today’s 2026-27 Regular Season slate (2027-01-04), attention shifts to Texas Edgers visiting Silicon Valley Disrupters at Disruption Pavilion at SAP (7:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass), where Duke Dennis and Verity headline the marquee matchup.
"Handsome Squidward read every tag defender on the floor tonight. Scoring 31 points with 5 assists against Los Angeles Gyatts is textbook point-of-attack execution."
