Today’s 2026-27 Regular Season slate tips off at The Purple Garden (1:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass) following Verity’s 35-point eruption against Los Angeles.
BOSTON — The 2026-27 Regular Season schedule rolls into a marquee showdown today as the Toronto Mewers travel to The Purple Garden to face the Boston Grimaces (1:00 PM EST, BBL League Pass). The head-to-head matchup pits Toronto star Handsome Squidward (24.8 PPG, 4.2 APG) against Boston cornerstone Grimace (19.8 PPG, 16.1 RPG) in a battle with major conference implications.
Today’s slate follows an electric night of BBL action in which the Silicon Valley Disrupters defeated the Los Angeles Gyatts 119-116 behind Verity’s 35 points, 7 rebounds, and 14 assists.
“Playing at The Purple Garden requires 48 minutes of defensive communication,” Dr. John Mew-rot told reporters at morning shootaround. “Grimace can take over a game in a three-minute stretch, so our transition defense and rebounding have to be airtight from the opening tip.”
"We love defending our home court at The Purple Garden. Handsome Squidward and Toronto Mewers bring elite firepower, and our locker room is ready for the challenge."
"Road games in this building always have a playoff atmosphere. We’re locked in on executing our gameplan for all four quarters."
